  1. Short:        Allow old prog. to use Datatypes

  8. This commodity provide the use of datatypes to old software like Deluxe
  9. Paint, Brilliance, etc...
  10.  
  11. It's a pre-release ! ( -no doc- ). I need your comments.
  12.  
  13. HOW: Patch the dos.library/Open function, intercept picture loading and
  14.      convert it in a standard IFF format.
  15.  
  16. REQUIREMENTS: OS 3.0 or higher.
  17.               MC68020 or higher.
  18.  
  19. INSTALLATION: Copy exe/HappyDT to the WBstartup drawer. 
  20.               Copy prefs/HappyDT to the Prefs drawer.
  21.  
  22. CONFIGURATION: Run the Prefs/HappyDT.
  23.                - Tempory file: Select the place where the temp file will
  24.                  be written.
  25.                - Info Window: Popup a window when HappyDT is working.
  26.                - Add: add a task in the task list. (select the prog.)*
  27.                - Delete: delete a task in the task list.
  28.                Each task you add in the list are patched to load not-IFF
  29.                pictures with datatypes (except .info and .font).
  30.  
  31. USE: Just run HappyDT !
  32.      You can kill/Disable it with Exchange.
  33.  
  34. * NOTE: Most of the time, tasks have the same name that the executable.
  35.         In other case, use a tool like SnoopDos to locate the real name
  36.         of the task.

  38. Tested with: Deluxe Paint IV & V.
  39.              Brilliance.
  40.              Scala.
  41.              Wordworth.
  42.  
  43. TODO: - A real documentation.

  46.       - ...

  48. FUTURE: Extend the use to other datatypes super-class (like sound, anim...).
